The Gentotsu[Notes 1] is a fictional technique that is introduced in the manga series "Tough". Often described as the greatest technique of the Yugen Shinkage Ryu and Nada Shin Shinkage-ryu martial arts.
Description
The Gentotsu is an arcane technique of the Yugen Shinkage and Nada Shin Shinkage fighting styles. While much of its origins are unknown, general descriptions state that the user harnesses seismic vibrations through their body, producing sonic waves which are sent hurtling towards the target as a energetic mass of force usually in the shape of a giant fist or blast.[1]
In The Manga
The Gentotsu debuted in the 251st chapter of the "Tough" manga, entitled "251st MATCH: Saikyō no Omokage". The chapter continues the final match of the Hyper Battle tournament between Kiichi Miyazawa and Jet.[2] After enduring Jet's relentless assault, Kiichi counters inadvertently with the Gentotsu as Jet advanced toward him. The resulting impact created a large impression at the center of Jet's chest.
