|“||So that means if I'm able to rip this giant tree from the ground... I'll be stronger than a god.||”|
– Kakuryo about the great tree.
Kakuryou Kurisu (栗須革了, Kurisu Kakuryō), romanized as Kakuryo Kurisu in the English Fan-Translation, is a fictional character from the manga series of Koukou Tekkenden Tough.
He is a serious man that normally comes across as unsociable and even somewhat aggressive who takes pride in his great physical strength, and is always trying to improve it, to the point where he'll eat unappetizing, yet extremely nutritous food such as maggots and rotting meat in a special broth. Despite him coming across as a standoffish brute he is surprisingly insightful, and also capable of mercy, as he let Peter Kaman live by holding back on his Circular Throw, citing that he doesn't want to kill a terrified human being.
He is a very tall man that has an unkempt appearance, with short, dark messy hair and stubble on his chin. He has a hulking, muscular body with highly defined arms legs, and pectorals, yet a highly toned layer of fat over his abdomen. He weighs 150 kilos.
Koukou Tekkenden Tough
Ten years ago Kakuryou got into some legal problems with the world pro-wrestling and went into recluse. Hearing about the legend of the Sacred Tree, Kakuryou believed that being able to rip it out of the ground would mean that he would be stronger than a god. Kakuryou has been training for the entirety of his reclusion and has only been able to tilt it.
Even Iron Kiba said that Kakuryou Kurisu was "the Strongest Man Ever Created". His immeasurable brute power, abnormal strength and abnormal resistance allow him to throw his opponent from any position and pulverize him. He’s a natural disaster in the form of a human.
