Kiichi is first seen training at the waterfalls, unsuccessfully trying to use the Bosatsuken. Mitsuhide is also there giving Kiichi advice, on how to breach the waterfall. Kiichi the remembers what his father had said, stating that if he could not beat Goji, he did not deserve the heritage of Nadashinkage-ryu. Kiichi then gets frustrated and tries to forcefully break through the waterfall only to be dumped sunk into the water.
Moriyan and Ishige are then seen wondering where Kiichi was. Kiichi is saved by Mitsuhide, and seeing Kiichi's desire to defeat Goji, decides to help Kiichi by being his punching bag. Kiichi is later, with Mitsuhide, unable to master the technique. A car comes, as Kiichi and Mitsuhide were walking, and something told Kiichi not to move, to which Kiichi listened and was able to use Bosatsuken. He then thanks the driver, for his help at making him learn the new technique. Mitsuhide then congratulates Kiichi, and it is found out the Seiko was the one who told Kiichi not to dodge the car.
