The True Nature of The "Demon" is the thirty-sixth chapter in the Koukou Tekkenden Tough manga, and the thirty-sixth chapter in the series.
Synopsis[]
Kiichi is seen training when his dad interrupts, as he noticed Kiichi was protecting his elbow. He inspects and finds many of his bones dislocated, and figures out that Kiichi faced Heizou. Seiko tells him that Heizou was not serious and did not wish to destroy, much to Kiichi's shock. Heizou is then approached by the reporter, and finds out that Heizou had loss to the Nadashinkage, although he was smiling as he had enjoyed the fight. He then tells the reporter that Nadashinkage did deserve the title of life and death martial arts, as he felt as though he was reborn. Heizou then tells the reporter that he is quitting being the destroyer, shocking the reporter. Heizou is then sent out to pick up some cigarettes, during which he is attacked by an old cohort, who breaks his arm after bashing his face. Kiichi is then seen trying to visit Heizou unaware that the man who had just attacked Heizou was closing in on him.

- Seiko finds out that Kiichi had fought against Heizou and tells Kiichi that Heizou was not fighting seriously.
- Heizou is seen talking with the reporter and tells him he will no longer be the destroyer anymore.
- Heizou, while picking up cigarettes is attacked by an old cohort, having his face bashed and his arm broken.
- Kiichi goes to visit Heizou unaware of what had happened to Heizou, and the man who had attacked was approaching.
