Yousuke Nishijima (西島陽助, Nishijima Yōsuke) is a fictional character from the manga series of Koukou Tekkenden Tough. He is called the Last Giant (最後の巨人, Saigo no Kyojin).

Personality[]

He puts up a facade of being a nice and friendly guy, but in actuality, is a huge jerk who shows no mercy to his enemies and even uses unfair tricks in a fight, such as jabbing thumbs in eyes and stomping on feet to hold somebody in place.

Appearance[]

He is a very large man with short dark hair styled into a neat crew-cut, with beady-eyes and a wide nose, as well as full lips.

History[]

Koukou Tekkenden Tough[]

Yousuke Nishijima was Kiichi's first opponent in the YJ Cup Karate Tournament. He was declared the winner by TKO after the fight was stopped due to a cut from Kiichi.

He later went on to fight Nagahide Kaneda in the finals. During the fight while Nishijima took a high guard. But Nagahide stayed with his arms down, without guarding. Nishijima broke the distance between the two by just throwing some jabs and the moment he sent his straight right. Both of their fists met violently like the sound of two cars hitting head on. Nishijima’s enormous frame was projected like he was one of the cars hit. It turns out that Nagahide ended up breaking Nishijima’s and gave him multiple open fractures, forcing the ringside staff to cut his gloves off with scissors and making him have to go to the hospital.

Abilities[]

Yousuke Nishijima was the winner of the YJ Cup Karate Tournament last year, and he didn’t win by luck. He has no qualms about fighting dirty and pulling an illegal hit without the referee noticing is a part of his technique.

In addition, as a full-contact karateka he is shown to be very resistant as not only was he able to take Kiichi’s Hashin Shou but was able to keep fighting afterwards. However, he was no match for the inhumane striking power of Nagahide Kaneda, and his hand was broken so badly that he had several open fractures and had to have his glove cut off.
